  • All Dogs Must be dog and people friendly, and respond to voice commands.  Dogs must be housebroken, and be able to stay on their own (in the house) for up to 5 hours.  If your dog requires crating at night, please talk to me prior to boarding.  I have some crates, but you may be asked to bring your own.
  • Vaccine Requirements: Kennel Cough, Rabies and Distemper. Please provide me with the name and telephone number of the veterinarian or clinic that provided these vaccines. Dogs must be spayed or neutered, unless prior arrangements have been made.
  • Owner provides own food, clearly labeled with the brand and “flavor”. Please provide feeding instructions. I provide feeding dishes.
  • Bedding, I have a variety of dog beds. You are welcome to bring your own, at your own risk.  (By this I mean, I can’t guarantee the bed will remain in the same condition it was dropped off!)
  • If, at any time, I think the dog needs veterinary attention, I will take the dog to Grant Creek Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Mike Keast, in Missoula. If it is after hours, the dog will go to the emergency hospital in Missoula or Kalispell. All efforts will be made to contact the owner prior to any veterinary care. Owner is responsible for payment of any veterinary care while under my supervision.
  • I take all dogs for two long walks per day, if your dog has exercise restrictions, please let me know.
  • If your dog is on medication, please provide me with the name of the medication, and dosing requirements. If your dog requires medication by injection, there is a fee for that, depending on the medication.
  • I have a resident, indoor cat. Please let me know if your dog is aggressive towards cats. My cat is very dog savvy, but if you know your dog does not tolerate cats, please inform me, so I can put the kitty in her room for the duration of your dogs stay.
  • All attempts are made to keep your dog safe, happy and content while staying at Unleashed. Some dogs cannot be persuaded to stay out of the river, so, may go home damp.   Dogs typically go home tired, they play a lot while at camp.
